Tetra Safestart. Known for their knowledge and products for fish, Tetra have formulated Safestart, a water treatment that enables the new fish keeper to add fish to the aquarium almost immediately.

Safestart contains the necessary bacteria that remove harmful nitrate and ammonia from a new aquarium and help mature the filter more quickly. This formulation helps avoid weeks of allowing aquarium water to mature and enables you to enjoy your new hobby much sooner.

Tetra Safestart can be also be added to established or mature aquariums following filter or water problems. In an established tank Tetra Safestart is still effective against nitrate and ammonia.As a guide 50ml of Tetra Safestart treats approx 60 litres of aquarium water; 100ml treats approx 120 litres; 250ml treats approx 320 litres.
